Ken's Naperville Real Estate Blog : "Don't give up on me!"

"Don't give up on me!"

"Don't give up on me," asked my friend over the phone.  We were talking a few weeks back.

He has been keeping his eyes on the real estate market in Lisle for the last few years.  He is hoping to move into a bigger place, but there are some issues...

Issue #1 is selling his current house at the right price to make it all happen.  We are not sure it can happen right now...

"Don't give up on me," he asked again before we got off the phone.

"I won't," I answered.

I never give up on anyone.

Ken, especially in this market time is on the agent's side. Just keep the client in your loop.

Keep him on the "burner" and keep him warm. I see a sale in the future.

So true Ken. Keeping in touch is so important. So much business is lost by those who do not keep in touch with people that are just not ready now for whatever reason.

Taking a "hit" on his current residence to buy what he wants in another market (and gets a great price on that one) may not be a bad idea....if he is not "upside down" in it. You just have to convince him that selling his house "at the right price" may not be his idea of the right price, but will accomplish his goals.

awww.. I like your attitue, Ken.  I often want things to happen NOW but I have learned to be patient.  I never give up on anyone, either!
