Half Full, or Half Empty? Naperville Commercial Real Estate

I hope to open up a Scooter Dealership in Naperville in the next 6 months.

I have been looking at locations in and around Naperville, and I have a couple locations that I believe would be perfect for my business:

A commercial property on River Road in Naperville         Location 2 for Naperville Scooter?

I am currently discussing these locations with their agents.  Both would be great for my business.  Good locations, about the right size, and most importantly, affordable.  Despite my enthusiasm for these spots, I went out looking at more spaces yesterday, hoping to find even better locations.

I was blown away by what I found...

Vacant Naperville Commercial Property

Vacant Commercial Space in Naperville

Vacant Naperville Commercial Property

Literally hundreds of thousands of square feet of commercial property sitting vacant.  I had other spots I was going to visit, but I saw no need.  I had seen enough...

But is the glass half full, or half empty?

The pessimist sees a bad economy.  Broken dreams.  Reasons not to start a new business...

The optimist sees opportunity.  Potentially very low rents.  Possibilities...

What do you think?

Is the glass half full, or half empty?  Chase your dreams.

Ken

One lesson I learned from college. A half cup of beer is pretty cool either way. Life is what you make it, opportunity or crisis.

I think scooters are great in any economy. Are they electric scooters? We have a friend here who has an Ebike company and he is doing extremely well.

Hi Liz an Doug.  Thanks for stopping in!

Doug, I want to party with you.

Liz, I own a gas scooter.  Great in any economy.  Fun and Functional.  Can't wait to get my doors open!

Thanks again,

Ken

Hi Ken.  Great format to get your message across to potential buyer, sellers, tenants and landlords.

I can relate to Doug's comment.  Go for it!
