Ken's Naperville Real Estate Blog : Blogging my day away...

Blogging my day away...

Yesterday, I wrote how it was a great day to buy a house here in Naperville, Illinois.  It was cool by late March standards, but sunny with no wind.  I don't think temperature matters too much, but I feel the sun really buts people in a real estate mood.  And I had a good real estate day yesteday but...

Today I really blogged most of the day away.  I look at the clock.  6:00 PM.  The second basketball game is just rapping up.  Romero won the golf tournament.  But where did my day go???

The weather today was grey and wet.  As my wife would say, "Her real estate indicator was very low."

Sure, not every day will be filled with appointments.  Catching up on emails and blogging with my new friend Active Rain was important.

But boy, we just went on a walk around our neighborhood.  That was the first time I left the house, unless you count my "trip" to the end of the driveway to get the Sunday paper.

I wrote a couple posts.  Commented a fair amount.  Read some good stories.

But where did my day go?

Tomorrow is another day.

I had to work today and it was raining earlier, but the sun came out and now I am relaxing and reading posts too.

Hi Chris and Jeff.  Thanks for reading.  60 minutes on now.  I have been getting my fill of TV too.

Ken,  That was most of my day yesterday.  It was rainy here and I did someblogging with a break for dinner at Olive Garden.  Been on less than an hour today though.

Hi Ken,

Funny you should write about the weather.  We had a chilly wind today.  I decided to take my camera down to Lake Ontario to take some photos that I plan to post on my blog at some point.  What an amazing sight.  The waves were crashing over the pier with the lake looking more like an ocean.  It was clear and I was able to see the Toronto skyline and the CN Tower 30 miles away with a freighter going past.  A few other brave souls were taking in the amazing sights.  I tend to take for granted the privilege of living in a lakeside community.  I like to walk my dog along the lakeshore in the summer but I'm so glad I picked a blustery end of March day to make a visit.

Hurry up spring

Hi Cathy, Jimmy, Jenny and Desiree.  It is easy to get caught up in the blogging.  I would rather be with live customers, but it is nice to have a place to write your thoughts.

Thanks for reading,

Ken.

p.s. Jenny, it sounds beautiful.  I used to live downtown Chicago.  It is very nice living by a lake.
