Ken's Naperville Real Estate Blog : GROWTHLEADER...MY 8 DAY UPDATE

GROWTHLEADER...MY 8 DAY UPDATE

It has been 8 days since my new website, www.ServingNaperville.com, was created by the staff at Marketleader.

The website was designed to be simple and user friendly.  Designed to attract those interested in real estate in Naperville Illinois.  A virtual spider web, built for me, a Realtor...

It was created to maximize the chance a visitor will register to the site.  When they register, they come to me as prospects.

I expected to be flooded with leads.  I was expecting 4 or 5 leads a day...

I have had two.

I am OK with two.  It has only been 8 days...

But I expected more.  Could it reflect current market sentiment?

So far, not a ton of traffic visiting Serving Naperville.

I have called and emailed both prospects.

One I have yet to connect with...

The other answered my phone call.  A young gentleman that may be moving to Naperville next spring.  He will be in town next week for interviews.  We are meeting on Friday.

Overall, I am happy.  One solid lead.

In 8 days?  Not bad.

But I expect more in terms of volume.

After all, MarketLeader has created a pretty neat contact management system, Vision.

And their customer service and training has been great.

But I am ready for a few more leads...I want more people to talk with...

Once again, I'm not complaining.

It has only been 8 days...

Ken,

Volume is nice if you like activity but a few solid leads, in my opinion are better than a ton of busy work.   Hang in there it will work.

Thanks for the update.  One good lead a week would be good in this economy.  Thats my two cents any way.

Hi John.  I am with you.  It would be great.  I was just expecting a flurry of bad email addresses, bad leads, etc.

Hi Ken, I'll take quality over quantity any day.  Hope you get more quality leads.

Hi Ken... glad to hear you've had two.  That's two more than I have received so far, but I know that they will eventually get here.  I just keep chanting at my desk, "Good things come to those who wait!"

Hi Shirley and Steve.  Thanks for reading.

Quality is more important.  I am greedy both would even be better!:)

Still none Steve?  The season?  The housing market?

Probably harder to drive traffic to our sites.

Thanks again,

Ken

I expected to be flooded with leads.  I was expecting 4 or 5 leads a day...

Good evening Ken,

Naperville should be a popular area, even in November.  I see lots of transactions there.  However, are any of the other test sites bringing in 4 or 5 leads per day?  That's not easy to do.

I guess the key question is: How are buyers finding you?  I can't find your ServingNaperville site on Google.  OTOH, I have often found your ActiveRain posts on Google.

Respectfully,

Bruce

Ken,

The program sounds like it a good one and when you are slow maybe one solid lead a week is still good.  What did they have to say about listing leads?

Hi Don and NYL.  Thanks for reading.

It sounds like my expectations were out of whack.

No word on listing leads.  I guess many looking to buy also need to sell.

I got another lead during the night.  I am up to 4.

Thanks again,

Ken

Hi Ken, I'm following your posts.  If you're having any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to reach out to myself or our Customer Care team.  I can't wait to see your results for this last week.

Hi Ken,

I'm also a little disappointed in the amount of leads I received in the past week.  Actually, I have had 2 leads since I started 2 weeks ago.  However, I have faith that Growth Leader will remedy this problem soon.   Right Jennifer?

You are headed in the right direction, don't get discouraged.  It will take a little time and then the floodgates will open!

Hi Jennifer, Judy, and Janna.  All J's!

The pace of leads has picked up this week.

I have no complaints, I was just surprised.

I have an appointment on Friday from Growthleader.

All is good with the world.

Thanks ladies.

Hi Judy - You've had 2 prospects so far this week?  That's definitely better than last week!  And yes, we will continue working with you to ensure that your advertising budget is aligned with your business goals.  I'll check in with you again at the end of the week.
